🧵 Crafting in Mystavaria

For those of us who just want to make really nice buckets.

Mystavaria offers more than just battles and magic — every player can learn up to three crafting skills, each one offering a different type of creative mastery. Whether you yearn to brew strange potions, forge molten metal, or just make a really gorgeous bookshelf, crafting lets you create a vast range of items from essential utitlities to decorative works of art.

The skills listed below will be available at launch, with plans for additional crafting skills to come post-release.

Alchemy

Mix, stir, transmute, and hope it doesn't explode. Alchemy lets you brew potions from various ingredients. It pairs well with the Herbology gathering skill, which allows the alchemist to pick and prepare the many herbs required in alchemical recipes. Potions are an important aspect of survival in Mystavaria and other adventurers are like to have frequent needs of potion refills, so you can rest assured you will always have purpose in the world.

✨ The Path of the Artisan ✨

Not everyone dreams of swinging swords or slinging fire. Some dream of kilns, chisels, dyes, and blueprints.

For those whose passion lies in creation over combat, Mystavaria offers the Path of the Artisan — a specialised route for dedicated crafters. Choosing this path lets you trade one major skill to gain two additional crafting skills and one additional gathering skill instead, giving you more to create, experiment with, and thrive in the art of making.

Artisans are often highly self-sufficient, capable of gathering most of the resources they need and turning them into functional, beautiful, or delightfully weird things.

💡 Tip: To embrace the artisan life, simply type CHOOSE ARTISAN in game. If you change your mind later, you can instead RENOUNCE ARTISAN.
