Game Help: Commands

    Even the most seasoned dreamer needs a refresher from time to time. Here is
    a collection of some of the most common commands you'll find useful.

    LOOK or L            | View the description of your current location.
    EXAMINE or EX <item> | Examine the finer details of an item or player.
    INVENTORY or INV     | View items and information about your inventory.
    INFO HERE or IH      | View a list of items in your current location.
    INFO INV or II       | View a list of items in your inventory.
    PROBE <item>         | Assess finer details about the specified <item>.

    GET <item> FROM <item>    | Gets one <item> from inside another.
    DROP <item>               | Drop an item.
    GIVE <object> TO <player> | Gives one of your items to another.
    PUT <item> IN <item>      | Puts one <item> inside another.
    PLACE <item> ON <item>    | Places one <item> atop another.
    FILL <item> WITH <item>   | Fill a container with <thing>.

    WHO  | Shows a list of denizens within the land.
    CW   | Shows a list of citymates (should you have citizenship).
    GW   | Shows a list of guildmates (should you be in a guild).
    CLW  | Shows a list of clanmates (should you be in a clan).

    SAY <text>             | Says <text> to those in your location.
    OSAY <text>            | Speak out of character to your location.
    TELL <player> <text>   | Sends a private (telepathic) tell to <player>.
    NEWBIE <text>          | Speak or ask questions on the newbie channel.
    PUBLIC <text>          | Speak to everyone on the public channel.
    GREET <target>         | Greets <target>, particularly useful with NPCs.
    ASK <target> <keyword> | Asks <target> about <keyword>, also useful with NPCs.
    LAUGH, SMILE, GRIN     | Personal "canned" social commands. See HELP EMOTES.
    EMOTES                 | Shows a full list of all "canned" socials.
    EMOTE/EMS <text>       | Send a custom emote to your location.
    RPSTATUS <player>      | View another player's RP preferences.

    FRIENDS                  | Lists your closest friends.
    FRIEND <player> <amount> | Makes <name> a friend of <amount>.
    ENEMIES                  | Lists your deadliest enemies.
    ENEMY <player> <amount>  | Makes <name> an enemy of <amount>.
    FOLLOW <target>          | Starts to follow <name>.
    LOSE <target>            | Loses <target> who is following you.

    STATUS or STAT   | Provides information on your wellbeing.
    QS               | One line, quick status/prompt information.
    DREAM OF REALITY | Return to life, should you have a meeting with death.
    SLEEP            | Settle down to sleep, can be used to regenerate health.
    WAKE             | Rouse yourself from sleeping.
    DREAM            | Pay a visit to the Dream Realm.
    MEDITATE         | Places you in a meditative trance to regenerate mana.
    EAT <item>       | Attempt to eat the specified item or herb.
    DRINK <item>     | Drinks a beverage or magical potion.
    APPLY <item>     | Attempt to apply the specified item or herb as a salve.
    SMOKE <herb>     | Smoke an herb-packed pipe.

    SCORE            | View your level, standing, ranks, and affiliations.
    ETHOS            | See the unique makeup of your ethos.
    ACCOLADES        | View a list of accolades you've earned.
    QUESTLOG or QL   | View a list of your currently active quests.

    SKILLS                        | Lists your skills, and proficiencies.
    AB <skill>                    | See abilities within <skill>.
    LEARN <skill> FROM <target>   | Learn the specified <skill> from <target>.
    TEACH <skill> TO <target>     | Teach a lesson in <skill> to <target>.
    SELECT SKILLS                 | Guided archetype and skill selection menu.
    REQUEST <skill> FROM <target> | Acquire a new <skill> from <target>.
    FORGET <skill>                | Forget your knowledge of <skill>.

    DESCRIBE MYSELF  | Describe what others see when they look at your character.
    WEARING          | See a list of clothing (and items) you're wearing.
    WEAR <item>      | Puts on <item> of clothing.
    REMOVE <item>    | Removes worn <item>.

    READ <item>    | Read an item or book.
    SMELL <item>   | Smell the odour of <item>.
    LISTEN <item>  | Listen closely to <item>.
    OPEN <item>    | Attempt to open the <item>.
    CLOSE <item>   | Close a previously opened <item>.
    LIGHT <item>   | Attempt to light fires or <item>s such as pipes, etc.

    WEATHER        | Assess the current weather.
    TIME           | View the current time in Mystavaria.
    DATE           | Reveals the date, month, year and season.

    SETTINGS       | View a list of customisable settings.
    IGNORE <thing> | Ignore certain items or messages within the game.
    NOTICE <thing> | Pay attention to something you previously ignored.

    HELP                 | Shows a list of topics with helpful information.
    HELP <topic>         | Display information about the specified <topic>.
    HELPSEARCH <keyword> | See all help files which contain the <keyword>.
    HELP HERE            | Display any help available in your specific location.

    OOC   | Return to the login menu.
    QUIT  | End your gaming session.
