    Understanding the Environment
    Mystavaria's world is built from interconnected rooms or locations that
    together form its vast environment. Each location represents a distinct place:
    a forest glade, a bustling city street, a dark cave, or even the skies above.
    These rooms contain the physical, interactive world your character inhabits.

    To review a detailed overview of where you are, use the SURVEY command.
    Surveying a location provides valuable information such as the broader region
    or settlement, guild or personal ownership, and the location type. This is
    an excellent way to orient yourself, especially in unfamiliar areas.

    You may also wish to consult help files for specific terrain types, such as
    HELP FORESTS or HELP MOUNTAINS to understand the features, challenges,
    and resource potential of certain regions.

    Interacting with the Environment
    Every location includes a description and may contain objects, creatures, and
    other players. You can interact with nearly everything you see, but learning
    to read your surroundings is essential to survival.

    Most commands follow the structure of <verb> <noun> <preposition> <noun>,
    although not every command requires every part. For example, READ SIGN or
    PUT GOLD IN BACKPACK. The more carefully you read the world around you, the
    easier it becomes to understand which commands might apply, and you'll often
    find clues for what actions and interactions are possible.

    Obstacles and Environmental Obstructions
    The environment is not always passive, and certain environmental features may
    shape your choices. Doors may be locked (see HELP DOORS), obstacles or
    barricades may block your path (see HELP OBSTACLES), and some areas require
    special skills to navigate or access, such as climbing or swimming.

    Resources and the Living World
    The environment is not merely decorative - it is alive with opportunities and
    potential. Locations may offer:
       - Resources to gather or harvest
       - Animals to tame and earn loyalty of
       - NPCs to interact with, trade, or learn from
       - Clues to quests or hidden lore

    Understanding how to interact with the environment is a core part of life in
    Mystavaria. Explore with curiosity, pay attention to details, and experiment
    freely.

    Surveying the Forest's Flora
    Within a forest, grassland, or other flora-bearing wilds, SURVEY FLORA
    turns your attention to the herbs and trees around you, reading their
    health and how recently they have been tended. What you can tell is
    shaped by your training in Assessment: a novice learns only a vague
    impression, while a well-studied assessor can read a plant down to its
    exact vitality and how long it needs before further tending would help
    rather than harm. Those who walk the paths of Druid or Nemophilism find
    the wilds speak to them plainly regardless of their study, their bond
    with the forest serving in place of the lesson.
