Game Help: Flying
Flight is a valuable and versatile ability in Mystavaria, allowing swift travel, aerial exploration, and access to the vast skies above the realm. Whether granted by skill, mount, potion, or tattoo, flying opens an entirely new dimension of movement and strategy. The Skies Flight enables access to the LOWER SKY and HIGHER SKY. How to Fly To take to the skies, you must possess one of the following: - The FLYING skill (available as a minor skill to all professions) - A winged mount capable of flight - Other abilities that grant flight or levitation Once airborne, if you wish to descend and return to the ground, simply use the LAND command. Flight Risks Be cautious if you are forcibly pulled into the sky and lack flight or levitation, for you will begin to fall. You have only a short time to activate a levitation defense (such as a wings tattoo or potion of levitation) before impact. Falling from great heights can cause serious injury or even broken legs. Flight and Companions Others cannot follow you into the sky unless they too are capable of flight. If you take off while being followed, those behind you will remain grounded. Learning to Fly The FLYING skill can be learned by any adventurer as a minor skill. You will first learn to fly to and maintain flight in the lower skies. At higher mastery, you will be able to reach the high skies, taking off at will and having greatly enhanced mobility. Even those without the flying skill can sometimes access the skies through tamed creatures, summoned mounts, or specialised abilities. For example, a winged pegasus ridden by someone knowledgeable with animals may serve as a worthy aerial companion.
