As a guild grows, the Guildmaster may at some point wish to construct a
guildhouse to use a meeting point and base of operations for the guild's
members.
Guild Lots
Before guilds can construct any buildings, they must first purchase a lot.
Oftentimes, the Guildmaster will take charge on this step, however all
guild members are capable of purchasing a lot on behalf of the guild (see
HELP LOTS for more information).
Constructing New Guild Buildings
Once the guild has ownership over a lot, the Guildmaster (or the guild's
Patron or a Founder) may construct new buildings on the lot using GUILD
CONSTRUCT <building> <direction of lot>. Unlike clans, a guild may own
any number of guildhouses, even across different territories and zones.
To review a list of buildings which can be constructed by guilds, use
GUILD CONSTRUCT.
Extending the Guildhouse
Once a guildhouse has been constructed, it can be extended with new
rooms. Extensions merely add an unfinished room to the guildhouse, which
must be renovated to serve better purpose.
To extend a guildhouse, stand within it and use GUILD EXTEND <direction>.
Guild Renovations
Once a new room has been added to a guildhouse, the unfinished room can
have renovations performed on it to give the room a particular style,
purpose, or even certain additional functionality (such as a guild vault
to store coins and resources in).
To review a list of renovations which can be applied, use GUILD
RENOVATE. To renovate an unfinished room, stand in the room and issue
the command GUILD RENOVATE <renovation type>.
A guildhouse can also be given a total makeover by dismantling rooms
back to an unfinished state, allowing alternate renovations to be
applied. Use GUILD DISMANTLE while standing in the appropriate room.
