Game Help: Guilds

Guilds are a type of organisation which serve as a repository of vast knowledge
and likely one of your primary sources of learning in Mystavaria. While clans
strive to unite like-minded adventurers on a general level, guilds strive to
unite similarly skilled and aligned adventurers, with each guild catering to a
    specific profession.

    Joining a Guild
All guilds are listed in the GUILD HELP directory. Like clans, guilds
can be either public or private, a choice which is decided by the Guildmaster.
Public guilds can be joined by anyone, however private guilds are by invitation
    only.

Regardless of whether a guild is public or private, you will need to seek out
a member of the guild first. This can be either a fellow adventurer or an NPC.
In their presence, you can use GUILD JOIN <guild name> to request permission
to join. NPCs will automatically accept anyone as a new member so long as they
meet the guild's set requirements, which can include restrictions on citizenship,
    reputation, and skills.

In the case of a private guild, a member of high enough rank would need to
extend a personal invitation to you. This can be done using GUILD INVITE
    <prospective member>.

    Advancing in a Guild
Upon joining a guild, new members are admitted as "Apprentices" with limited
access and privilege within the guild. With time and accomplishments, you will
advance through the ranks and gain more privileges, including the right to vote
in guild elections, and even challenge leadership for the potential to become
    the Guildmaster yourself.

    Founding a New Guild
Guilds are evolved from well established Clans with a consistent number of
members and enough wealth and resources amassed to have constructed their own
clanhouse. For a clan to transition into a guild, they must have a minimum of
five members, and all members must be of the same profession - as the commonality
of guilds is that they represent a single profession.

Once a clan has met the above requirements, the Clan Leader may use the command
CLAN TRANSITION TO GUILD. The clanhouse will undergo a small transformation,
turning into a guildhouse. The former Clan Leader will be established as
    the first Guildmaster.

Clan Veterans start at the guildrank of "Officer", while Clansmen start at
the "Journeyman" guildrank. Clan Initiates become "Apprentices" of the guild.
Any Clan Founders still in the clan at the time of transition will maintain
their founder status within the newly formed guild.

Upon successful transition, the former Clan will be written into the history
of the guild, but the Clan itself will cease to exist.
