There are a number of shops around the world, usually found in villages,
cities, and other settlements. When in a shop, you can browse the items
for sale using the GOODS or WARES (see HELP GOODS).
When you are ready to purchase an item, you can use the BUY <item>
command. It is best to get into the habit of referencing items by ID when
shopping to ensure you purchase the correct item.
Where caravans are parked, BUY <item> finds the item in whichever
caravan is selling it. If more than one caravan sells something by that
name, buy it by its ID, or name the caravan with BUY <item> FROM
<caravan>. Inside a shop, BUY always buys from the shop itself,
so use FROM <caravan> to buy from a caravan parked there instead.
Shops and caravans can be closed for business, and nothing can be
bought from them until they open again.
