Game Help: City Patron

The crowned ruler of each settlement holds the privilege of and power to
choose a Patron to serve as a Divine Guardian of the settlement. While the
Divine Patron is unlikely to be involved in the day-to-day of running the
settlement, they will stand behind the citizens in times of crisis, and, at
their own behest, may choose to share vital information, advice, or provide
    aid in other ways.

While it is not a requirement for a settlement to have a Patron, the decision
to go without one may leave the settlement in a more vulnerable and less
informed position compared to others which are backed by the guidance of one
    of the Divine.

The crown's choice of Patron is one of few powers which cannot be contested
by any other citizen. The Patron cannot be vetoed, changed, nor removed by
any other, save only for if the Patron themselves chooses to reject the honour
    or abandon the position.

To formally declare a patron, the settlement ruler alone may use CITY PATRON
<deity>. If at any point they wish to remove the Patron or choose another,
the command to issue is CITY UNPATRON.
