Shopkeepers can review a running ledger of every purchase made from
their shop, and every markup change made to it, with SHOP LOG -
like a stack of merchant's receipts.
This is a private record for the shop's owner or renter only - it is
never visible to the city, unlike TRADE LOG/CITY LOG. The one
exception is a shop still owned by the city itself, which the Crown,
a Consul, or a Magistrate of that shop's settlement may also review.
Because a single person can own or rent more than one shop, SHOP
LOG always reads the ledger of whichever shop you are currently
standing in - either its public storefront or its stockroom - so use
it while inside the specific shop you want to review.
