Those who tread the path of adventure may eventually find themselves
face-to-face with the aftermath of battle: the fallen bodies of beasts,
foes, or other misfortunate souls. Mystavarians may choose to LOOT the
remains, seeking spoils of war to bolster their journey.
What can be looted?
By looting a corpse, you may uncover obsidian coins, commodities such as raw
ore, crops, or other useful goods, and particularly unique items which are
often tied to quests.
What to do with corpses?
As a long of many interests and allegiances, there are those who pay close
attention to what lies within the bodies of their foes - or, the bodies
themselves. Whispers in the dark corners of taverns and mutterings of old
scholars may hint at individuals, organisations, or settlements with vested
interests in specific corpses or their contents.
Time Limits of Looting
Beware, for corpses do not linger in perpetuity. Once the soul is reunited
with the body, it will be resurrected and no longer lootable. Hesitation in
plundering the dead may leave one empty-handed.
