Game Help: Lots

    It is possible to own and build property in many places in Mystavaria.
    For new construction, this usually first starts with the purchase of a
    vacant lot. Lots are available across the world, though usually more
    densely in and around larger settlements. Any lot for sale will be
    marked with a wooden sign, and you may use LOTS FOR SALE or LFS
    to see a list of any lots for sale in your current territory, with their
    whereabouts and price noted. To see any lots you have already purchased,
    simply use LOTS OWNED. Do note that the previous owner of a lot may
    restrict who they are willing to sell to.

    Purchasing Lots
    Lots can be purchased either for personal use, or on behalf of an
    organisation you are a member of, such as your clan or guild. When you
    have located a lot you wish to purchase, use the syntax PURCHASE LOT
    <lot direction> FOR <self/clan/guild>.

    When purchasing a lot for yourself, you become the sole owner and the
    only individual with privileges to construct on that lot. Purchasing a
    lot for your clan or guild allows any members of high enough rank within
    the organisation to construct new buildings on the lot. Be aware, if you
    do not have privileges in your clan or guild to construct, then you will
    not be able to build anything on the lot yourself. Bear this in mind
    before purchasing property for your clan or guild.

    Transferring Lot Ownership
    If you ever wish to transfer ownership of one of your lots to another
    person, you can use the syntax LOT TRANSFER <lot direction> <player>.
    The new owner does not need to be in your presence for ownership
    to be transferred.

    Selling Lots
    Should ever a time come when you wish to sell a lot you own, you may
    use the LOT SELL <lot direction> <price> command. You must issue this 
    command from a location adjacent to your lot.

    If at any point you wish to change the price of a lot you have for sale, you can use the LOT PRICE <lot direction> <new price> command.

    Do note that private lot owners are unable to set who their lot can 
    be sold to. This is the jurisdiction of the city leaders alone, so if you wish to sell your lot to only citizens of the lot's territory, or to only allies of the lot's territory, you would need to petition the city leaders to modify these restrictions for you.

    If you no longer wish to sell your lot, simply issue the command
    LOT UNLIST <lot direction> to remove it from being listed for sale.
    Should you wish to relist it, you may use LOT SELL again.

    Buildings & Construction
    Once you have purchased a lot, you will likely want to build some sort
    of structure on it. It is advised to read HELP BUILDINGS and HELP
    CONSTRUCTION when you are ready for this part of the process.
