Recognising that not all players may appreciate our default colour
scheme, we are making an effort to allow you to customise certain colours
to make the world more tolerable for you to read.
RN COLOUR DYNAMIC
Dynamic room names change colour dependent on the location type. For
example, if you enter a forest location, the room name will change to a
green colour. This option can be good to relay extra information at a glance.
RN COLOUR DEFAULT
While dynamic room name colours are nice for some, for others, the constant
colour inconsistency can be jarring and annoying. Instead, you may want to
use our |402default colour for all room names, which will stay consistent
regardless of location type.
RN COLOUR CUSTOM <colour code>
Our final room name colour option allows you to select your own colour to
use for the room name. Colours codes can be viewed using COLOR XTERM 256.
LIGHTTINT ON/OFF
Room descriptions take on a grey tint when a location is dark and a pale
yellow tint when it is very bright, so you can tell the light at a glance.
This is on by default; LIGHTTINT OFF keeps descriptions in their
normal colour regardless of light.
