Game Help: Signs

Signs are posted throughout the world to guide, inform, or even warn of
approaching danger. Found along roads, outside buildings, or placed within
settlements, they help adventurers find their way and understand their
    surroundings.

There are two primary types of signs.

    Navigational Signs
These are fixed, directional signs, often placed at intersections with arms pointing toward nearby points of interest, labelling roads, village gates, or
other notable landmarks. They are especially useful for young dreamers still
learning the geography of the land.

    Crafted Signs and Plaques
These are craftable signs or plaques created by those with knowledge of
woodworking, metalsmithing, or stonecrafting. Once placed, signs and plaques
can be inscribed with written messages to leave instructions, warnings, or
notes for others to discover. These are ideal for advertising personal shops,
guiding visitors, or leaving messages in public or private spaces.

When you come across a sign, you can simply READ <sign> to see any
messages or navigational guidance written upon them. Should you craft,
purchase, or otherwise come into possession of a blank sign, you can use
the command WRITE <sign> <message> to inscribe your own words upon it.

In the future, players will also be able to craft and create other types of
writeable and readable objects such as notes, scrolls, and letters.

For more information, you may also wish to read HELP READ and HELP WRITE,
which further explain how to interact with readable and writeable objects
    throughout the world.
