You may come across certain objects which can be worn on your person,
such as clothing, armour, jewellery, backpacks, and even some utility
tools. Wearing these items often enhances both your character's appearance
and functionality, with things like armour granting additional defensive
benefits.
Clothing
Articles of clothing are generally tailored for and only fit a specific part
of the body. Each body part has its own limits on how many items can be worn
at once. For example, only one shirt may be worn at a time, but you will be
able to wear up to ten rings across your fingers.

Wearing and Removing Items
To wear clothing or other wearable objects, simply type WEAR or EQUIP
<object>. To remove a worn item, use REMOVE or UNEQUIP <object>.
To view a list of everything you are currently wearing, including which
article occupies which body part, type WEARING.
Armour and Defensive Equipment
In addition to regular clothing, some items provide protection in battle.
Armour functions the same way in terms of wearing and removing, but also
contributes to your defensive capabilities. Protective gear such as helms,
breastplates, greaves, and shields can be crafted by Armour Smiths for combat
scenarios and are designed to mitigate or deflect incoming damage.
To view the total defensive value of any worn armour, you can use ARMOUR.
